My pet was just diagnosed with cancer, where do I start?
Talk to your vet at length. Look for cancer specific groups on Facebook as true, real life experience is invaluable. Listen to others that have gone through it. Most importantly, snag a care package from us HERE.

How do I update my monthly donation?
Donorbox (via website)

Paypal: Visit Paypal.com.
Go to Settings.
Click the Payments tab.
Click Manage Automatic Payments.

Here's how to change the payment method for automatic payment:
Select your current payment method.
Select a new payment method or click Link a new card or bank.
Click Save.

*Facebook donation information can be found in your Facebook settings under 'Payments'

CAN I REQUEST A CARE PACKAGE FOR SOMEONE ELSE?
Yes, just use their name and address and your email. We humbly request a donation of at least $20 for shipping, but our goal is to help everyone we can, regardless of their ability to pay.

CAN YOU RECOMMEND VETS OR SPECIALISTS?
Because we are nationwide, it is tough to do that. Locally, however, we have a partnership with Boulevard Vet in Chicago, but we are happy to research vets in your area that may be good once we've reviewed your application.

HOW CAN I HELP?
Donate! Come to our events! WE love to meet you. We also always need blankets tied and handmade cards for our care packages! For more information, please contact us.

ARE YOU A RESCUE?
No, we are a 501-c3 charitable foundation (EIN: 47-4770782) who assist pets and their families through cancer diagnoses. However, we have now partnered with Lulu’s Locker Rescue to assist and home animals that are in danger of euthanasia, face major medical issues or are no longer able to be cared for by their owner. DOES LIVE LIKE ROO ASSIST ONLY DOGS?
No! We have not only assisted with the care of dogs, but cats, rabbits, ferrets and horses as well!

How long does it take to receive a care package?
We get 20-30 requests/week, but we try to mail them out within a few days.
Q
How long will it take to get an answer on my application?
Applications go through a 3-4 week grant review process. Grants are awarded monthly.
Medical records are required to proceed with the application process. Invoices and estimates ARE NOT medical records. Medical records are written or electronic notes that include a diagnosis and recommendations for treatment.

Will I hear a response from you, even if I am not given financial assistance?
Unfortunately, due to the high volume of applications, we will only respond to applicants who are receiving a grant.

If I do not receive a grant, can I reapply?
There is no need to reapply. If you did not receive a grant, you will be considered for the following grant cycle.

If I've already received a grant, can I apply again for additional funding?
There is no need to reapply. We will communicate with you via email, and you could potentially receive additional funds, but our priorities go to assisting new applicants that have not yet received funds.

Do you rescue animals?
No, we are not a rescue
